Line Cook Job at Yugo Oxford
Experience Requirements: 1 year experience preferred
Responsibilities for Line Cook:
Prepare ingredients, then cook and assemble dishes as directed
Perform portion control and minimize waste
Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at work station and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery
Set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol
Maintain a clean work station area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves
Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards
Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef or General Manager
Skills Needed: Ability to follow detailed directions and recipes, maintain high pace and intensity throughout the shift. Knowledge of commonly used kitchen equipment and sanitation procedures.
Duties Performed: Maintain kitchen equipment, follow all recipes to restaurant specifications and to the pars set by the Executive Chef, clean and store all equipment after use as well as the station area.
