We are hiring Part Time and Full Time Line Cooks to join our team! The starting hourly wage range is $18.00 - $20.00 an hour based on experience.

As a Line Cook, you will prep, set up and prepare quality food products in assigned areas of the kitchen in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

Ability to:

· Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

· Prioritize, organize, and follow through.

· Be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.

· Work well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timeliness.

· Maintain good coordination.

· Use all senses to ensure quality standards are met.

· Differentiate dates.

· Perform job functions with minimal supervision.

· Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

· Provide legible written communication.

· Do basic arithmetic.

· Be a team player – need to be willing to lend a helping hand to any teammate at any time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Two years’ restaurant experience

· Two years’ experience in a food preparation position

· Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.

· Food Handler Certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate

· Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship

· Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.

· Sanitation certificate.
