LINE COOK
Bensalem Township Country Club is accepting applications for the position of Line Cook. The Line Cook is responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory and supplies and maintaining sanitation standards. Other tasks include preparing simple components of each dish on the menu, ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner, restocking ingredients at work station, preparing assigned food items, ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products, cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers. The successful candidate shall have a high school diploma or GED, culinary degree preferred, 1-3 years of experience cooking in a restaurant, hotel or resort. They should also have an understanding of cooking methods and food handling procedures, ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed and attention to detail. This position requires you to have the physical mobility sufficient to move about the work environment and to work weekends, holidays and evenings. Township residency is preferred.
