:

Has entire responsibility for all Lifeline installation procedures. Performs data entry, billing and collection functions. Maintains financial records and prepares monthly accounting reports. Responsible for all clerical duties and all interaction with customers.

REQUIRES DRIVING THROUGHOUT THE REGION TO INSTALL LIFELINE SYSTEMS. Must have reliable vehicle and clean driving record.

Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full time 40hrs Mon-Fri days 8a-4:30p

You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Exceptional Patient Care : Screens and refers all incoming calls and department visitors to ensure that accurate and efficient department communication is facilitated and that the department is presented in a positive manner.

  • Excellent Communicator : Handles all equipment malfunction and repairs, including Lifeline Central, within 24 hours to ensure proper functioning and safety, as evidenced by daily accurate documentation in Lifeware and maintenance logs.

  • Strong Educator: Serves as billing resource/liaison person to clients and agencies by identifying, addressing or referring problems for resolution

  • Technical Familiarity: Generates daily, weekly and monthly computer reports on program activity and efficiency in the absence of the Lifeline Program Manager. Manages the daily installation and billing functions of the Lifeline program to ensure an efficient operation.

  • Active Teamwork : Coordinates day to day operation of Lifeline program in absence of Manager, including acting as supervisor/resource person to Lifeline Response Center staff as they perform Lifeline functions, under the supervision of the Department Head

Requirements :

  • Minimum High School Graduate or equivalent; Associates degreeor equivalent preferred with a concentration insecretarial and/or accounting.

  • 1+ year of billing experience required. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously with elderly clients and agencies.

  • Knowledge of billing procedures.

  • Valid Drivers License, clean record, and reliable transportation needed.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical claims preferred.
