Seeking RN or LVN For Home Health Care Position

compensation: $52hr- RN. $37.00hr- LVN

This is a great opportunity for a special person to join our team! We are looking for
an RN or LVN to work with a developmentally disabled female with cerebral palsy
and other medical needs, in the comfort of her own home. Position is part-time; a
few shifts per week with ability to add more as fill-in. Job duties include: ensuring
client safety, providing care, occasional outings, household duties, etc. Work in a
friendly, comfortable, non-stressful environment. Be in charge of only one client
that is warm, sweet and child-like. Be in a home environment, utilizing your health
care skills as well as having the luxury of being inside or outside, a great location,
low over-head and wonderful peopl e to work with! We are located in La Selva,
within walking distance to the Beach. A quiet, safe, lovely neighborhood. Client is
wheelchair bound and needs full care, but enjoys getting out on walks, and other
outings in the community when appropriate. Lives with family and has a great
team of other nurses whom also provide daily care. Searching for one more person
to complete our team.

Qualifications:
*Valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation.
*Clear TB test and physical
*Finger printing & background check.
*Good communication skills
*Current CPR & First-aide certified
*Valid Rn or LVN license
*Previous comparable work experience
*Trained in medical emergencies
*Positive, compassionate, caring attitude.
*Responsible, professional, on-time, reliable, team player
*Long-term commitment.
*Physically able to lift/transfer up to 56 lbs.

Responsibilities include:
*Companion Care
*Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
*Personal Care: Bathing, Dressing, changing, feeding...
*Medication comprehension
*Light Housekeeping
*Meal Preparation
*Medical care: G-tube, seizure management, developmental care, oxygen,
nebulizer, suction machine.
