VCA Braelinn Village Animal Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team in Peachtree City!

About Us

VCA Braelinn Village is an AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor practice offering a variety of services including Primary Care, Intensive Care, Advanced Surgery, Dentistry, and more, with an Internist on staff. We value teamwork, support, and continuous learning, and we encourage our LVTs to fully utilize their knowledge and skills.

Our hours are Monday through Thursday 7am - 8pm, Friday 7am - 6pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm, closed Sunday.

About the Role

As LVT, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

  • Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
  • Patient examination and assessment
  • Client education and care
  • Venipuncture, catheter placement
  • Laboratory sample collection and processing
  • Radiology and diagnostic testing
  • Medication preparation and administration
  • IV fluids and infusion set up and maintenance
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dentistry procedures
  • Surgical assisting
  • Safe and effective patient handling
  • Medical recordkeeping

Schedule

  • We have an LVT opening for both Day Shift and Overnight Shift.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician in Georgia, or eligible to obtain licensure upon hire
  • Veterinary Technician experience with Primary Care and ICU
