SUMMARY:
Under the leadership of a Registered Nurse, the LPN will be providing coordinated care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide direct care responsibilities to patients
- Supervise CNA’s
- Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policy
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders
- Follow established procedure for charting
- Complete patient assessments, coordination of care
- Identify and reports changes in condition
- Follows environmental health & safety and sanitation standards and procedures Oversees clinical and non-clinical acute operations and continuum of care
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid FL LPN license
- 1+ years of education or experience in Long-Term Care preferred
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
