Amanda Feinberg Marriage and Family Therapy, Inc. is a rapidly expanding mental health practice run by an experienced licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. We specialize in Anxiety, Depression, trauma as well as other mental health disorders. Company is run by licensed therapist Amanda Feinberg (LIC# 108598).

Position:

We are seeking a LMFT, LCSW, PHD, PSYD, or LPCC. This position is for a W2 employee. Client referrals will be given to the candidate by our marketing specialist. The candidate will need to obtain personal liability insurance. We do not provide health insurance. The candidate can work via telehealth and in person -- our office is located in Marina del Rey, CA. Candidate must be willing to work in person if the client prefers in-person sessions. Modern and fully furnished office provided. Clients are private pay, superbills are provided by therapist.

HOURS: Candidate can choose their hours and schedule. Candidate can work from both telehealth and in person (Marina del Rey). Candidate must be willing to work up to a caseload of at least 10 clients. Client acquisition is dependent on the therapist being a good fit for the client. Applicant will provide 15 minute phone consultations for incoming clients to determine fit. Ramp up period estimated at 3 months for 10+ clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed registration from Board of Behavioral Sciences (vis. LSCW or LMFT). Fully Licensed, Must demonstrate knowledge of treatment needs and modalities depending on diagnostic issues. Current and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science.
  • 2 years of licensed experience working in treatment or private practice
  • Understanding of diagnostic issues, specifically issues of trauma.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to write competently.
  • Must have valid CA driver’s license if driving a personal vehicle on our property
  • Masters Degree level education and fully licensed
  • Computer skills adequate to perform required documentation
  • Any of the following: LCSW, PHD, PsyD, LMFT, LPCC
  • Ability to build rapport quickly
  • Passion for working in start up enivornment
  • Comfortable working with LGBTQ+
  • Willingness to consult with psychiatrists, previous therapists, support network

Preffered Qualifications:

  • 4 years of licensed experience working in treatment or private practice
  • Specializations in EMDR, DBT, Somatic therapy, Brain Spotting
  • Ability to work with teens, adults, families, couples, groups
