We are looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to work with our in-house legal team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Data entry and maintenance of portfolio in YARDI, Microsoft 365 and other software programs
  • Document creation and management
  • Work with property management and legal teams to ensure tenants are in compliance with lease insurance requirements
  • Third-party billing
  • Legal filings and maintenance of calendars
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Administrative duties (i.e. filing, mailing, drafting letters and e-mails, etc.) and any special projects as required by your supervisors
  • Assist in preparation of reports
  • Provide general support to legal team
  • Other duties may be assigned


Qualifications
are as follows:

  • Minimum of a two-year degree, four-year degree preferable
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office software (Word and Outlook with some familiarity with Excel)
  • Aptitude to learn software programs (including real estate management software, such as Yardi)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the drive to see tasks through completion
  • Must be able to take initiative to help satisfy the goals of the department
  • Experience at a law firm or in-house legal department as an administrative assistant or paralegal is a plus; alternatively, knowledge in the field of commercial real estate or project management in a corporate environment is a plus
