Responsibilities and Duties

The Leasing Consultant is the front line point of contact for our community.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:

Introduction- greeting potential residents and sharing/selling the benefits of the community. Will provide continued follow-up, complete lease paperwork and other communication necessary in order to provide a smooth and stress free move-in experience.

Meet weekly and monthly leasing and occupancy goals and complete related daily/weekly reports.

Maintain communication throughout the lease term of the resident including completion of the renewal lease process, creation of resident notices, and following up with residents through phone calls, texts, and e-mails.

Ensures the office, models, and “market ready” vacant apartments are in perfect condition

Participate in marketing efforts including but not limited to internet advertising, craigslist postings, social media engagement, outreach marketing, resident referral and PEP programs.

Coordinate resident activities and create monthly newsletter

Maintain resident files

Qualifications and Skills

Outstanding customer service and sales skills are essential to the position. Strong communication skills including verbal (telephone and face to face) and written are required.

Team player attitude-must be able to partner with additional team members to ensure goals are met.

Dependable and detail oriented.

Extremely Computer literate (Microsoft word, excel, publisher, email, job postings, internet advertising, craigslist, social media). Yardi experience is a plus.

Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays Only)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
