Your areas of responsibility:

• The Learning and Development Specialist works closely with the Talent Acquisition and People Development Manager to design, conduct, and organize training programs to improve employee performance and support organizational growth.
• Manage the coordination and execution of L&D programs such as Fuchs Connection, onboarding, competency development, leadership development, etc.
• Assist leaders with the design, development, evaluation, and on-going management of job / departmental specific onboarding programs and new hire training
• Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about L&D sessions; manage course and workshop attendance; maintain event documentation including program materials and evaluations
• Act as point of contact for participants before, during, and after all L&D events
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment; ensure room availability and proper furniture, equipment, and supplies arrangements
• Assist with designing, updating, and maintaining the L&D SharePoint site
• Overall administration / main point of contact for the SAP Success Factors LMS system, including scheduling classes / sessions, formatting training modules to be uploaded to the system, etc.
• Assist with recruiting (including sourcing, interviewing, etc.) and other areas of HR, as needed.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Human Resources, Design, Business, Business/Administration, Psychology, Communication, Management, Adult Education, Communications)
• 3+ years of L&D related experience (e.g., training related role), strongly preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills to coordinate program efforts
• Strong time management skills with great attention to detail and analytical skills with a high degree of professionalism
• Self-starter with an innovative approach to designing solutions
• Resourceful with outstanding problem-solving skills
• Proactive and approachable and receptive to change
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn / master new systems rapidly
• Knowledge of SAP Success Factors / utilize Success Factors to schedule classes, monitor enrollment, and generate ad hoc and quarterly reports, desired
• Ability to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities
• Desire to learn and take on broader responsibilities
• Ability / willingness to travel overnight 25%+ to include locations in the US and Canada, and other countries, as needed; may be periods where more extensive travel is required
