SUMMARY
The Lead Server is responsible for supervising the day-to-day functions of the restaurant while providing excellent customer service, and actively contributing to the department requirements and standards. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties include; although are not limited to:
  • Assisting the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager and F&B Supervisor in the development, implementation, and maintenance of club quality service standards
  • Ensuring food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitoring set up and maintenance of dining room to ensure all side work is complete
  • Interacting with members and guests to ensure a positive experience
  • Attending daily pre-shift meetings
  • Conducting ongoing service training of restaurant associates, ensuring further development and learning is occurring
  • Assisting in the completion of daily shift reports
  • Other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Food and Beverage
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
  • Supervisor or management experience in Food and Beverage preferred
  • Exceptional member & guest recovery skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by club environmental systems. Position requires walking and standing most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Regularly lifting Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware, up to 50 lbs. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
