Lead Machine Operator Job at RPMStaffing Professionals
Duties:
- Ensure a safe working environment while abiding and enforcing Safety Policies.
- Accept responsibility for ensuring that capacity is managed efficiently, and key performance indicators are part of the employee’s process measurements and performance evaluation.
- Manage, train, and educate direct reports in order that the requirements of job performance, organizational efficiency, and people development are achieved.
- Making sure sampling processes and other quality checks are being completed and recorded.
- Ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed as required.
- Accurately interprets pertinent data that is contained on the Blueprint and Traveler and apply it to the task being performed.
- Locate, pull, and install the proper tooling per set up sheet.
- Set up the hardware machines using the correct amount of pressure to ensure the hardware is installed flush and without damaging the part.
- Able to set up and run production within the time limits developed on the traveler.
- Also, able to point out errors on the traveler to Supervisor.
- Planning for and accomplishing manufacturing growth as dictated by the growth of our customers.
- Ensure daily conversations are being done with team leaders to ensure operational efficiency and productivity.
- Work with other supervisors and support staff on problem analysis, solution simulations and implementation of improvements.
- Ensuring periodic machine maintenance is completed and documented as required. Carry out any other duties as and when required.
