WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Located in the West Michigan market, this position offers the opportunity to function as a crew lead and to interact with customers through the installation of solid surface, granite, and quartz surfaces. See the fruits of your labor as you transform spaces! Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Living Out Lumbermen’s Culture – Modeling Lumbermen's core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen's is 'first choice' of our customers.
  • Modeling Safety – Being a safety-minded team player who will contribute to the protection of all employee owners.
  • Prepare Materials – Reading orders and installing countertops to customer specifications. Facilitating safe, efficient, and precise installation of products (surfaces, sinks, and faucets) . Removal of laminate, tile, solid surface and other existing countertop surface
  • Customer Service - Ensuring strong communication with customers (including effective problem resolution when applicable) Obtaining proper customer sign off for work completed
  • Travel – Traveling to job sites in a company vehicle

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Chauffer’s license with a clean driving record (can assist with obtaining chauffeur's license)
  • At least one year of installation experience
  • Construction experience is helpful, but not required (tile setter, fabricator, trim carpenter, cabinet installer)
  • Hilo operator’s license (will train if needed)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lb
