The Goddard School located in Leander is seeking loving and enthusiastic Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our school family!

The Goddard School is a year-round child care program for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten (and after school care for Elementary School children). We continue to set the standard for excellence in early childhood education by engaging the best early childhood teachers and providing them with the tools they need to be successful.

We are looking for child care teachers that are fun-loving, nurturing, patient and kind. We hire lead and assistant teachers that truly celebrate the milestones that occur in early childhood and believe in developing each child's natural curiosity and creativity to create a lifelong love of learning.

Lead and Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

• A passion for educating young minds
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to build lasting relationships with parents, co-teachers and the community
• Dependability and a commitment to professional development in early childhood
• Experience in child care is a plus
• HS Diploma/GED required
• CDA, AA or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development are a plus
