Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona, provides programs and services for youth and adolescents with a variety of mental and behavioral health challenges. Our Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist Performs billing, collection, cash posting, and accounts receivable reconciliation functions for assigned programs and payors. Communicates with payors to resolve billing issues and any discrepancies on payments. Reviews billing system reports and works with programs to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue and billing generation. Responsible for set collections and cash flow targets. Assists department leadership with month close, reporting, training, other related duties, special assignments and projects as required. This is a remote position (must reside in Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ)

• High School diploma/GED required; Associates degree in Business or Accounting preferred
• Two (2) years of related experience in accounts receivable, billing (commercial and Medicaid) and collections
• Certified Professional Biller (C.P.B.) or certified coding specialist preferred but not required
• Strong computer literacy and receivables software knowledge
• Knowledge of behavioral health terminology preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to attend full time, paid New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check
• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
• Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
• Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination
• Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
