Job Title: Lawn and Gardens Worker
Job Description: The Glen Mills Schools is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated individual who is capable of maintaining the beautification of the campus grounds working as part of a team or on an individual basis.
Scheduled Hours & Days: The Lawn and Gardens Worker position will be a part time position, up to 35 hours a week between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. The employee must be available for organizational training when scheduled.
Start Date: Immediate
Posting end date: when position is filled
Degree/Credentials Required: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass comprehensive background checks.
Essential Skills Required/Including but not limited to:
- ability to mow lawns the proper length to prevent burning
- perform weed whacking duties when necessary
- assist in the pruning of shrubbery
- provide help in removing of debris when needed
Additional skills that may be helpful:
- knowledge of the use of different size and types of mowers
- ability to manage and maintain different areas of the campus grounds
- general knowledge of the maintenance of the equipment
Starting Salary/Rate: Part-Time position starting at $15 per hour.
