Here's a great way to boost your Law Clerk career! Our client, a highly specialized law firm in Lemon Law, is seeking an experienced Law Clerk for its' Century City offices. The firm has big wins, class actions, SuperLawyers and a family-friend atmosphere.
In this Law Clerk role, you will:
- Conduct initial Case Assessment and Investigations
- Prepare legal drafts by assembling and organizing information for legal forms and documents, including complaints, declarations, discovery requests, responses, and other pleadings
- Gather and Analyze statues, decisions, legal articles, court opinions, documents and other data
- Investigate facts and search public records
- Assemble case materials by collecting, organizing, and summarizing information, documents, reports, and evidence.
- Assist with Preparation, Filing and Service of pleadings in State and Federal Courts
- Format and Finalize legal documents
- Create Table of Content and Table of Authorities
- Assist in Deposition and Trial Preparation
- Prepare trial briefs, exhibits, subpoenas, evidence, and motions
To be the ideal Law Clerk candidate, you must:
- Have a BA degree, preferably in law
- Have excellent knowledge of rules for formatting, filing, and serving legal documents in state and federal courts
- Have xcellent civil litigation court proceedings and deadlines for state and federal courts
- Just love being a Law Clerk
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
