The Holiday Inn Express Hotel is located in the heart of Oro Valley and is a great location for business and pleasure. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual for a Laundry Attendant. The work environment is fun, challenging, and extremely rewarding for successful candidates. A Laundry Attendant: Project a willing, urgent, "can do" attitudeEnhance Quality Assurance StandardsPromote safety awareness and practice safe workSupport and comply with hotel policies and proceduresBea cooperative, enthusiastic and productive "teammate"Achieve productivity goalsEnhance the "guest experience" by making a positive contributionEffectively communicate with supervisors and co-workersParticipate in department meetingsPulling the chute, washing, drying, shaking, ironing, sorting and folding all linen, terry and Food & Beverage itemsAdditionally will be responsible for operating all machinery as directedReporting any maintenance issuesShaking out linen as requiredSending linen through ironerMaintains neat and organized work areaPerforms preventive maintenance as directedSorts linen, loads and unloads machineryPerform other normal housekeeping and cleaning duties as assignedParticipate in taking monthly linen inventory Job Requirements:1+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferredMulti-task and detail-orientedExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a team playerAcceptableoral, verbal, and written communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.85 - $15.50 per hour
