We are currently seeking Laundry Attendants to join our team at the Courtyard by Marriott located in Middletown, NY. Starting wage for this position is $16.00 per hour based on experience. Job Description
Our Laundry Attendants load articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent; Start machines that automatically washes and rinses articles; Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them successively into dryers for measured time cycles; Sorts dried articles according to identification numbers or type; Fold and place items in appropriate area/storage; Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in vat to precondition articles for washing; Are responsible for reclaim items; Maintain a clean and safe work environment; Assist with linen inventory; Possess knowledge of all aspects of facility; Participate in team and company meetings; Attends monthly department meetings; Completes projects as determined by Management; Nights, weekends, and holidays required; Have computer skills and the ability to learn hotel operating system, MS office and internet.
Additional Job Requirements:

• Hotel experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train.
• Ability to work with all types of people.
