Job Description:
- Technician/Sr. Technician – Polymers and Textiles CoE
- Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM field
- Experience must be in medical device R&D Lab setting
- Prototyping and testing using lab equipment
- Equipment maintenance
- Hands-on prototyping
Additional Skills:
- Good understanding of lab processes and equipment in a lab environment.
- Ability to perform complex troubleshooting
- Strong interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner
- Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prototyping and testing services in a laboratory environment.
- Create samples/prototypes and conduct testing using established procedures/protocols.
- Collect data in an organized manner and present/share effectively.
- Support calibration, preventative maintenance, accessories inventory and all requirements are met for continuous operation of the equipment suite in the lab
- Work with Scientists and Engineers to develop materials and prototypes by compounding, synthesis, or coating.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
