Position Summary
The primary role of the Kids Spaces Supervisor is to assist the Business Manager in managing the staffing and operations of Kids Spaces. The responsibility is to maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction as measured by guest surveys.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ensure that the Kids Spaces team is fully staffed with the right number of people
  • Ensure that coverage is scheduled to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Greet and engage guests on sales floor
  • Completes required training in the expected timeframe, and participates in ongoing learning opportunities
  • Ensure the team follows the Retail Business Standard Work and State Standard guidelines when maintaining the operational departments
  • Utilize all tools to the company standard
  • Ensure check-out/in processes is executed
  • Maintain Kid’s Spaces’ equipment and the facility. Immediately report to the Business Manager when repairs and purchases are needed
  • Adhere to proper cleaning standards
  • Able to identify, recruit, develop and retain talent of all team members
  • Have ongoing talent conversations and develop leadership skills to build store “bench”
  • Able to build and inspire store teams to achieve goals and complete standard work
  • Able to generate energy within the store through recognition and transparent in the moment conversations
  • Ability to work weekends and most holidays
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3- 5 years of experience in a childcare or education related field preferred. Three years of supervisory experience required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.
$15.85 - $20.60
Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive a team bonus based on meeting specific monthly goals and KPI’s. Bonus amounts are based on the level of achievement and the total hours worked during the bonus eligible month.
