Since opening in 1997, CAP has grown to maintain 33 group homes, four adult day programs, a Home and Community-Based Services program (HCBS) and a Group Supported Employment program (GSE). CAP is seeking an experienced and diligent Job Coach/Superviosr to lead our GSE clients who provide janitorial maintenance services to commercial facilities including our offices/day programs. Additionally, our GSE clients preform basic residential landscape duties. This position will be primarily responsible for leading Direct Suporrt staff (Caregivers) who supervise our developmentally disabled clients to provide general janitorial services; sweeping, mopping, cleaning, trash removal along with basic landscape activies including mowing, trimming, debris removal and related duties as assigned by the supervisor. In addition to your staff working directly with client on these duties the job coach works directly with them as needed as well. This position will report to our Regional Director.

A vehicle, trailer (if needed), and most tools will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach GSE clients to performs tasks to efficiently support the janitorial and landscape maintenance needs of designated clients.
  • Supervise Direct Support staff/Caregivers who also support GSE staff to perform their job duties.
  • Understand safe work practices in all circumstances and report equipment in need of repair.
  • Inspect work sites to ensure there are no safety hazards, litter, or debris.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.

Requirements:

  • Must have an Arizona driver's license and a clean 39-month MVR.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work.
  • Must have the ability to drive work truck.
  • Must pass a level one fingerprint clearance card background check.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to understand and follow written & verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to respond appropriately to supervisors and coworkers.
