The main role of IT assistants is to install, configure, and maintain computer network systems for a company. He or She are responsible for ensuring that the company’s computer network is functioning properly and up-to-date. IT Assistants work for a wide variety , Installing, maintaining, repairing, setting up peripherals, keeping records and assisting operations,management, and branch managers.

Experience: Two or more years of related experience with computers and providing customer service in a technological environment. May require the knowledge of a variety of hardware as well as software, programming languages, and operation systems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A IT ASSISTANT:

• Will provide constant support to our administration personnel
• Will resolve end-user problems on a daily basis both accurately and in a timely manner
• Install new hardware or software applications as and when required
• Install and maintain various peripherals as well as installing relevant updates
• Frequently troubleshoot, diagnose and fix hardware or software issues
• Often assist with maintaining inventory of computer goods and other office equipment
• Keeping all computer equipment running smoothly
• Generating error, diagnostic, and repair reports.
• Sets up and submits production jobs and edits and debugs computer output

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree in information systems, computer science or a related degree
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well under time constraints
• Expertise in computer networks
