Responsibilities:

The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for:

• Coordinates support and operations of the TMH Windows Server and Storage Environments.
• Provides for the ongoing hardware and software needs of both servers and storage.
• Provides for the continuous maintenance of the server and storage systems.
• Provides performance improvement measurements and data.
• Other duties as assigned

Reports:

Director IT/Infrastructure Services

Supervises:

• Leads the technical work activities of the IT/Systems Administrator, IT/Network Analyst I , IT/Network Analyst II , and IT/Network Analyst III

Qualifications

Required Education: Minimum: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Required Experience:

• Eight (8) years of experience working within a Windows Server and an Active Directory environment with one (1) year of experience working within at least four of the following disciplines: Server Virtualization, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, System Center Configuration Manager, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network Addressable Storage (NAS), and/or Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) required.
• Experience applied toward the minimum experience requirement cannot be credited in lieu of formal education above.
• OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of at least four (4) of the following areas: Windows Server, Active Directory, Server Virtualization, Exchange Administration, Storage Networks, Citrix, various Unix operating systems (OS) (e.g., Linux or AIX), and Local Network Connectivity and Wide Area Connectivity.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Industry certifications from three (3) or more primary technology vendors (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, EMC, and International Business Machines (IBM), one of which may be a credential from one or more industry credentialing vendors (e.g., the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA))).
• Advanced degree (master’s or higher) in computer science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Five (5) years of systems programming and/or development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Novell, Domain Name System (DNS), and Network Time Protocol (NTP). Knowledge of VMware and other platforms.
