Blair Image Elements, a leader in supplying signage and related branding elements to regional, national and international clients, is currently seeking an IT Generalist for our operations based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This position's essential purpose is to provide tech support as well as license and account administration in a manufacturing environment, with additional technology-related projects and tasks as needed. Monday-Friday first shift, with occasional weekend and night time user support

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs initial configuration and ongoing support of computers for approximately 300 users
- Handles licensing management for a wide variety of office productivity and manufacturing software
- Provides VPN user support, account management, and client setup for remote access
- Troubleshoots email clients and does initial new user setup of email for both phones and computers
- Partakes in administration of both company cell phones and desk phones, troubleshoots as needed
- Maintains printers and troubleshoots issues as needed
- Responds to security incidents reported by centrally managed workstation security systems currently in place and assists with keeping security software updated
- Contributes to network upkeep including switches, wireless access points, cable ends, and internal expansions of network
- Configures, connects, replaces security cameras and monitors cameras and camera systems for issues
- Supports user A/V equipment needs including conference room speaker systems, projectors, TVs and microphones
- Researches and enters purchase requests for technology related hardware and software as is necessary
- Assists with server setup and maintenance dependent upon skill set and departmental needs
- Primarily office based position with frequent need to assist shop floor users. No long distance travel required outside of Altoona
