Job Summary

CommonSpirit is looking for a Director of Clinical Applications and Software Support. As a Director, you will act as a trusted advisor, subject-matter expert and escalation point for the client and staff through building and maintaining relationships, strategic planning and resolution of issues. You will plan roadmaps with strategic partners in the business units and Software Engineering. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within expected scope and budget as well as develop and lead strategies to improve client satisfaction. You will be responsible for leading a team in multiple modules and standardizing applications. You will be working with the clients. You will drive long term planning and annual budgeting for both strategic and tactical investments.

The successful candidate for this role will have extensive experience in management with both staff and budget responsibilities. You will have exceptional analytical ability and the ability to communicate complex concepts to executives and working level audiences. You will have robust organizational, written and verbal communication skills, to drive delivery and a program’s vision and strategy with the right processes, communication channels and metrics in place to measure and ensure success. Experience working with highly complex projects or programs within a large organization is required. You will have a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and have demonstrated experience with complex multi-stakeholder decision-making.

  • Creating relationships with Business Units, Engineering and Operations teams
  • Managing multiple teams of people
  • Managing multiple application implementations
  • Managing Vendor relationships
  • Financial acumen to work with VMO, Finance and accounting teams
  • Decommissioning of non standard applications
  • Support Mission and Values
  • Provide innovation to business approaches, being proactive to identify new opportunities and strive for improvements, while effectively overcoming barriers impacting performance and outcomes.
  • Effectively execute plans and implement change, reflecting strategic agility.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree Preferred
  • 11+ years of management and/or management consulting experience, including staff and P&L responsibility
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience with direct senior level client relationships
  • Experienced in Large Implementations and steady state operational support.
  • Experience leading large, complex, high-visibility projects and programs

Pay Range

$62.51 - $90.64 /hour
