General Summary:

The Information Systems Training Registrar provides administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the training programs for Mass General Brigham Information Systems solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the training schedules, including planning and communicating the timing and content of the training sessions.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to training sessions. Support may include room reservations, catering orders, building access, parking, etc.
  • Register trainees for the training sessions, send confirmations and confirm attendance. Maintain registration records for eacy follow-up and retrieval.
  • Coordinate the purchase of any required training supplies.
  • Assist with the administration of training assessments and other indicators of program success.
  • Work with other members of the training team to ensure a successful program.

Working Conditions:

  • Possible local travel to Mass General Brigham sites
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.

  • Secondary high school diploma required.
  • Three years of experience providing administrative support. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements

Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions
