Coleman Sprinklers Inc. is seeking a full-time lawn sprinkler Irrigation Technician. We are seeking highly motivated, goal oriented, hard-working individuals with at least 2 years of residential and commercial experience. Punctual attendance and a strong work ethic is essential to the job. Service Tech must be able to work as part of a team and/or independently while prioritizing task, have good customer skills, and be willing to learn about and use new products/technology to meet our high standards.

Our irrigation technicians are responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness and efficiency of the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of layout and installation of both large and small commercial and residential irrigation sprinkler systems
  • Knowledge of repairing and maintaining all types of irrigation components including electrical components, such as controllers and timers
  • Knowledge and ability to identify system repairs and improvements
  • Knowledge and ability to operate various irrigation machinery and tools
  • Spring evaluations and start-up
  • Winterizations and blow-outs
  • Mid-season inspections
  • Be able to use a tablet/smart phone to keep up to date historical data for each account regarding water sources, POC, and to incluce services performed and parts installed.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2 years irrigation experience
  • Ability to communicate with clients on a routine basis to solve problems and ensure satisfaction with the service provided to foster a positive, long-term relationship with them
  • Work well as a team and independently
  • Ability to troubleshoot and exhibit sound decision making skills
  • Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communications with clients, co-workers and supervisor
  • Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
  • Willing to work 30 to 40 hrs/week minimum with some overtime and possible Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
