Work Options: This position requires you to work on-site at our headquarters in Neenah, WI but does have the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

The purpose of the Inventory Planner is to determine product reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs while communicating regularly between Marketing, Sales, Distribution, and other areas of the company. This position will also assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establishes reorder points by SKU for stock products by evaluating production speed and product demand.
  • Processes product orders through internal Manufacturing or vendors to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Works with Marketing and Sales to establish forecasts for select products and maintains product acquisition planning schedules. Works with suppliers to improve product lead time.
  • Manages inventory levels for e-comm warehouses.
  • Works with business analysts to expand and improve the MRP process. Establishes and monitors metrics for suppliers such as on-time deliveries and costs.
  • Audits inventory cycle counts and resolves discrepancies. Identifies and implements process improvements to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in inventory planning desired
  • ERP experience preferred.

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Quality minded and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong number acuity.
  • Knowledge of MRP.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
