Summary/Objective:


The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for assisting in all daily operations of the stock room which include, but are not limited to, packaging products, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, logistics management, accurate inventory counts and inventory control, stock room cleaning/housekeeping and maintenance, and safety.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete and log all activities in the system and document controls as required: receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, compliance and certification materials, and issuing all materials, and completing special assignments.
  • Conduct inventory cycle-counts of inventory and update logs and system inventory as needed.
  • Conduct year-end inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Assist in daily order fulfillment (material requisition, apply product labels as needed, create shipping labels using order fulfillment software, package product for shipping, prioritize order fulfillment as necessary)
  • Properly package label, and tag parts inventory.
  • Enter and receive materials into ERP/Inventory database.
  • Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Assists in the coordination of logistics and transportation for parts movements between Bigge branch locations, site locations, and supplier warehouses.
  • Load and unload goods and supplies, ensuring the proper handling of the same.
  • Responsible for maintaining parts warehouse and shop workplace organization.
  • Maintained warehouse and parts quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with purchasing and management teams on inventory management challenges while implementing and/or recommending solutions.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned by management.


Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate with employees of the organization
  • Must be organized, able to multi‐task, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have intermediate to advanced skill level using Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook. ERP and inventory management software experience is a plus.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a warehouse environment is highly preferred.
  • Must have entry-level knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and help create, develop, and implement project process improvement(s).
  • Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires operating both forklifts and company vehicles.

Pay Range:

The hourly pay range is $18.00 to $25.00 per hour.
