POSITION SUMMARY:

Leads Bridgeton cycle counting process to ensure inventory accuracy. Supports supply chain manager by providing inventory reporting & analytics on cycle count process, as well as, general inventory information for the site. Owns inventory accuracy at the site. Provide general administrative support services to meet Operations commitments to customer orders. This position must work closely with the production supervisors, site employees, warehouse manager, site finance, plant manager & supply chain manager, to ensure inventory accuracy needed to satisfy internal and external stake holders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Leads Bridgeton Cycle Count Process
  • Uses cycle count tools located in D365
  • Physically goes to locations and makes counts
  • Analyzes D365 data vs physical counts to ensure alignment
  • Reconciles any discrepancies between D365 and physical counts
    • Works with all appropriate parties to discover reason for inaccuracies
    • Works with finance to correct D365
    • Develops analytics to understand and communicate to site the reasons for discrepancies
    • Leads efforts where appropriate to correct reasons for discrepancies
    • Report trends & findings of inventory movements for the site to support site and supply chain leadership
• Use Power BI & Excel to analyze information to support findings, as well as, provide needed reports for Bridgeton site and supply chain leadership
• Lead yearly physical inventory at Bridgeton.
• Manage inventory accuracy at Bridgeton 3PL warehouses
• Assist supply chain manager in reducing slow moving and obsolete inventory.
• Review current workflows and analyze for optimization opportunities.
• Special projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years of Data Analytics experience
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a supply chain program or equivalent experience in an inventory management role.
• Ability to work in a production & warehouse environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of learning how to drive a forklift or previous experience.
