We're hiring a full-time, Inventory Control Analyst in our Dallas, TX Distribution center!

Job Description-Inventory Control Analyst

Perform activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or materials. Evaluate inventory accuracy and inform management of their status. The Inventory Analyst in charge of the cycle count process, complete reconciliations and request the adjustment need it. May perform receiving, stocking, distributing, and packing in addition to inventory control. Maintain inventory records and prepares reports.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

Review documents, such as Receiving schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities to complete reconciliation.

Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes

Review with operations when required due to control changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.

Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate task to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.

Compile information, such as materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed.

Run inventory reports as cycle counts, consolidations, and spot checks,

  • verify Recounts,
  • summarize production performance for cycle counters,
  • analyze overages and shortages and rectify erroneous transactions,
  • support other team members with item clarification,
  • give ideas of item organization on bulk and rack locations,
  • research shipments discrepancies,
  • manage work for cycle counters for the week, and
  • provide solutions for persistent problems.

Ensure recount comparison of 1st counts to system counts are performed.

Ensure 3rd counts are performed if necessary to reach consensus on discrepancies (Bad count, item movement, etc.), and enter recounts

Solicit help of IC team to hunt for missing material. These are items in weekly counts that need to be reconciled that are moved temporarily to bin QA.

Keep proper filing record of all cycle count performs with the counter’s signatures.

Reconcile Put away discrepancies as per “PUT AWAY QC Validation”.

All Inventory Adjustment needs to be complete by the inventory analyst (MISCELLANEOUS/ACCOUNT ALIAS/) in Oracle or Sage, and for Network and CPE items

Generate report for cycle count status and counters performance YTD.

Process all PO returns and RMA.

Reconcile with accounting any discrepancy between receipts and Invoices.

Count and reconcile USTC STOCK the first week of the month.

Troubleshoot and reconcile any day to day discrepancy in the bins

Submit items not on cycle count schedule for adjustment

Work with supervisor on Asset Disposal Forms to clear out QA Defective bucket

Work with inbound team / corporate to resolve QA Inbound discrepancies
