New hires will complete a self-guided online training course and make consistent progress towards achieving FCT Certification from the FCT Foundation through videotaped demonstration of competencies.

Enrolls in wheels of Change at time of hire completing the first 4 units within 7 business days of hire. The firs 4 units must be competed prior to serving clients. Training for each phase of training must be completed prior to providing services required in each phase

Completes all requirements to be certified in the FCT model within 365 days of start date

Participates in team supervision where case are reviewed, and freedback is provided

Utilize the FCT model to provide Intensive In-Home services in Driversions and Reunification cases, adhering to and ensuring fidelity to the FCT model

Conducts family and individual sessions as needed in clients' own homes and other setting when convenient for the family, spending an average of 4 hours per week and a minimum of 2 weekly contacts with clients with clients in compliance with expected FCT dosage

Provides services unique to each family that promotes the achievement of safety, permanency and well being well being for the children, including evidence based and trauma informed in-home services

Conducts initial and on-going assessments that are strangths based and individualized to be incorporated in tratement plans

Complete all documentation in a timely manner, including FCT fidelity documents

Implement interventions to ensure any gaps related to the family's basic needs are filled while helping the family also plan for long term sustainability

Provide youth and families with necessary transportation transportation and help them plan for long term transportation and help them plan for long term transporation needs

Assists family with access to psychiatric services and medication management

Helps families develop a support network in the natural environment

Deliver interventions designed to develop skills in both paretns and children to problem solve

Promote and supervise the youth and success in school while helping teach parent to advocate for their children's educational needs

Attend child/youth case related meetings

Attend court prepare youth and families for court and communicate with the case manager and court staff when necessary in consultation with the family and DCFS

Include the family in individualized treatment plan that periodically updated to reflect the goals of the family and child and focuses on empoerment and increasing parent accountability

Requirements:

Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field as determined by DHS

Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field as determined by DHS and at least one year experience working with children and families

Must be at least 21 years of age

Complete an Arkansas State Police Criminal Background check, Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry check and as applicable, a FBI and Central Registry checks of other states they have resided

FBI Fingerprint check if relocated to Arkansas in the last 5 years

Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation

Lifting requirements of 30-50 lbs

Mandated Reporter

Receives training in trauma informed practice and incorporates knowledge in day-to-day practice

Team player that supports corporate decisions and Saint Francis' vision, mission and ministry

Understanding of child and adolescent development and family systems

Understanding of family-driven practice, child welfare, the state system and behavioral health care delivery systems

Able to work flexible schedule including after hours

Ability to travel

Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills

Handles multiple priorities

Independent discretion/decision making within the schop and responsibiliyt of the position
