Title: Interim Surgical Services Manager in Lamar,Colorado

We are seeking an experienced Interim Surgical Services Manager to administer, direct, and coordinate activities of our Surgical Services Department. In this role, you will provide leadership in accordance with established goals and objectives, ensure the safety and comfort of patients, and promote the professional growth and development of staff.

Responsibilities include recommending, developing, and implementing policies and procedures for Surgical Services, providing direction and evaluation of patient care delivery, and maintaining operational aspects of the department. You will work closely with ancillary support services to provide and promote an appropriate working environment, monitor compliance with all pertinent regulatory standards, and administer patient care as needed.

To qualify for this position, you must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, possess a Baccalaureate degree or equivalent experience, and have a minimum of four (10) years of clinical nursing experience (Five years in surgical services). You should possess demonstrated leadership abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal relationships that enhance communication, promote conflict resolution, and facilitate staff development.

The ideal candidate should have specialty certification, CPR certification, with ACLS certification within one (1) year of employment, and a current Colorado licensure. Working environment includes a 24/7 responsibility for the operation of Surgical Services and attendance at hospital meetings.
