Our facility at Kennedy Space Center in Florida has an immediate opportunity for an early career Program Planner to join our mission supporting our return to the moon on the Orion program. More than ever, now is a great time to join the Orion program. This is an ideal opportunity to continue developing your career in Program Planning and Program Management. Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined
  • Computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experiences achieving team-oriented objectives
  • Experiences developing and delivering presentations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing directives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be a United States Citizen
Desired Skills:
  • Prior program planning-related experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge including cost/schedule integration
  • IMS development and maintenance experience
  • Self-starter and motivated to contribute to process improvements
  • Strong relationship builder with the customer and team members with the ability to diplomatically work through problems
  • Curiosity, positive attitude, and strong organizational skills
  • Experienced with Microsoft Project or similar planning tool

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
