Point of Sale Installation Technician

Retail Data Systems, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is looking for a number of individuals who have familiarity with Hardware, Networking, and is customer focused.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Preparation, Installation, and Repair of Point of Sale (POS) equipment
- Customer Communications
- On-Call Rotation
- Travel required within and out of state
We’re looking for someone with experience and expertise in the following areas, but will train the right individual: This position involves daily interaction with our clients and contractors and therefore demands exceptional people skills
- Individual should have experience with POS related systems and a general knowledge of the restaurant, grocery, and/or retail industry.
- Have experience in a time sensitive work environment,
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff.
- Proven problem solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
- A self-starter with the ability to work well independently, and as part of a team.
- Be able to work under deadlines, be detail oriented, motivated, and project driven.
- Must be organized and punctual.
- Good driving record and able to travel to customer sites.
REQUIREMENTS Valid Driver’s License Vehicle w/proof of insurance Mileage reimbursement available.

- After probationary period, company will provide a company van for work purposes.
- Full Time + Overtime
- Primarily 1st shift, but early / late hours required as dictated by business demands
- Background Check
- Work Location: On the road
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
