We are Jet East, A Gama Aviation Company, and one of the nation’s leading aviation maintenance providers. Our specialties include scheduled maintenance, on-demand mobile maintenance for unscheduled events, and related services in the areas of structural repairs, composite work, non-destructive testing (NDT) and paint capabilities.

The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business, and achieving/assisting in meeting opportunity-based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Manager will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and social channels. This individual will also actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on his/her interactions with prospects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding, and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Work with outside salesperson, parts department, and project managers to develop and provide quotes to customers.
  • Work with project managers for the scheduling of aircraft into the shop.
  • Participate in customer visits to the shop.
  • Closes new accounts by answering telephone, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
  • Respond swiftly and courteously to customer inquiries through phone, web and social channels.
  • Thorough understanding of our business and the ability to discuss our services with customers in a clear and concise manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years MRO experience is required.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with an outstanding telephone manner.
  • Excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of social networking (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc).
  • Knowledge of online meeting and communication tools.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A&P License Preferred.
