This Injury Prevention Specialist will be responsible for:
- Working with internal and external constituents to plan and implement community-based injury prevention programs.
Coordinating and providing training to program partners.
Monitoring the progress of program implementation and assisting with project evaluation.
Planning and coordinating or assisting in development and implementation of community educational events and health fairs.
Participating in injury prevention coalitions, committees, and community groups to represent Children’s Hospital.
To qualify, you must have:
- The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in human/social services and one to two years of previous experience.
- Well-developed organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivation and ability to work independently in the community as well as part of a team.
