Information Technology Systems Administrator Job at NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL SERVICES INC
The IT Systems Administrator’s primary role is to act as first-level support for Evergreen North America employees. Individuals in the position will interact with employees via telephone, e-mail, and ticket-based support systems. This position requires strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong time management skills. The primary role of the IT Systems Administrator is to ensure employee satisfaction and to provide timely resolution to technical problems as they occur.
In addition to interacting with customers and providing support, IT Systems Administrator will assist in day-to-day IT and network operations. This will include provisioning for new users and adding/changing/removing activities for existing users. Systems Administrator will interact with sales and accounting to ensure proper provisioning and de-provisioning of services. Daily responsibilities include monitoring server health, Microsoft O365 health logs, and KnowBe4 Phishing campaign logs.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial IT Help Desk coverage
- Interact with employees and provide basic and intermediate support
- Track and manage contact with ticket-based systems and support tools
- Provide remote support for end-user workstations and applications
- Provision or add/change/remove services as follows.
- Microsoft O365 Services (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure)
- Backups
- VM Ware virtualization
- SQL knowledge a plus
- Office Applications
- Antivirus /Endpoint Detection and Response
- Provide written documentation, policies, and procedures as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related foundations of study
- 3-5 work experience performing core responsibilities
- SQL knowledge a plus
- Viewpoint Vista knowledge a plus
- Sage Mas 100 knowledge a plus
- API / Webhook integration knowledge a plus
- Azure DevOps knowledge a plus
