We are currently looking for an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our team in Holland. This role will flex between a few day onsite in the office each week and a few days working from home.

As an Information Technology Manager you will:
Be responsible for SAP Basis, SAP Security, and DBA functional teams within Enterprise Information Technology group. Manage daily and long term objectives of corporate technical team; responsible for all administrative functions pertaining to team. Job Responsibilities
Manages technical support activities, including, but not limited to, capacity planning and performance monitoring, solution (hardware and software) specification, hardware and software implementation and maintenance, and problem determination and resolution to ensure high level of technology solution integrity, reliability, and availability.
Manages technical support team, including priority determination; test to production system migration; scheduling, budgeting and planning; chargebacks for selected services; consumable supplies; and personnel matters to ensure deployment and support.
Responsible for technical support team’s project plans, specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources. Prepares monthly status reports on projects and areas of responsibility to ensure management has proper decision-making data.
Ensures proper use of change management procedures to assure system availability.
Responsible for creating service level agreements and team support goals to support department and corporate goals.
Performs strategic planning and creates global technology standards, where practical, to support with corporate vision.
Aligns member and team performance objectives with corporate vision to ensure understanding and support of company goals and objectives.
Maintains communications with internal and external Haworth technology users to validate support levels are met.
Negotiates with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure technology products and services.
Researches and monitors technology trends. Identifies new technologies that may be leveraged to further Haworth’s global business initiatives.
Participates in 24 / 7, rotating, duty management on call. Do you have these required qualifications?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field (In lieu of degree, 2 years of relevant work experience is needed for every year of education not complete)
8 years of information services related experience
2 years of experience as a team lead, project lead, or supervisor
4 years of experience in technical support for operating systems, systems software, and budget preparation
Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, at times with very short notice, including internationally, up to 15% of time.
Current and continuing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Departmental strategic planning experience
Good written and oral communication skills and organizational skills required.
Must have good analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
Must be able to operate personal computers, common keyboards, and printers.
Must be effective at coaching team members and resolving conflict.
Must be able to set priorities and manage time.
