Summary:
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all aspects of data and voice communications systems . Serves as the manager for the network and communications teams. Develops and manages all phases of information & communications systems including planning, selection, vendor comparisons, projecting total project budget, contract negotiations, implementation, monitoring project budget and on-going system maintenance. Coordinates efforts between departments and Medical Staff in developing and implementing systems. Is responsible for the technology standards for Beebe Healthcare. Is ultimately responsible for system back-ups, redundancy, and disaster recovery plans. All members of the Leadership Team who need to use a phone for business purposes must use a personal cell phone.

Other information:
A minimum of 3 years in a similar leadership role, and 5-7 years in information technology.Hospital experience highly desired. Specific experience with infrastructure vendors and technologies currently in use at Beebe Healthcare is desired. Excellent team leadership and communication skills and ability to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds, training and experience. and the ability to deal with stress.

Responsibilities:
Works collaboratively with respective IS management roles and the Director of Information Systems to ensure that all projects and daily operational tasks are performed in a timely manner d on predefined customer service level agreements or project implementation plans. Prepares and reviews technical project plans and status of projects. Ensures that all downtime procedures are followed. Initiates the disaster recovery plan. Works with the Director to prepare disaster recovery testing scenarios and executes those tests. Ensures equipment and system software is maintained and resources identified and trained to support all technology components. Oversees troubleshooting networks, software applications, voice communications and other technologies. Serves as technical liaison to vendors, including key point of contact with remote hosted data centers.
