This is a Full Time Monday-Friday positon
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in infection control preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in acute care setting preferred
- Bachelor's degree in applied science (nursing, medical technology, mircobiology, public health) required. Master's degree preferred. Current WY license, BLS
- Strong computer and communication skills
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the management of of surveillance, prevention, and control of infections.
- Reports all findings to the Infection Control Committee.
- Identifies risk or potential risk of communicable disease or spread of infection and takes appropriate action as needed. Notifies Director immediately when a problem is identified.
