Summary

Self-motivated and task oriented individual with excellent mechanical skills to perform troubleshooting, installation, equipment repair and maintenance on all equipment per established schedule, and in immediate repair situations. Must work well with the team, and be willing to go above and beyond when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pumps, motors and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment that requires fulfillment of daily commitments.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.

· Ensure manufacturing equipment is producing quality and safe product for our customers.

· Adhere to GMPs and Safety Processes to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations. Perform ConnOSHA checklist as instructed.

· Repairs, modifies, and maintains all factory buildings, loading docks, outbuilding, interior offices in factory and office and maintains all manufacturing equipment, factory, or office fixtures.

· Performs Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) schedules and assignments as required for the tools and machines used in the performance of this function.

· All other duties as assigned/directed by Engineers or company President.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent. Mechanical certificate.

· Technical training in mechanical, industrial electrical, machining and hydraulics

· Minimum 2 years experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting dealing with electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.

· Basic knowledge of machining and able to use Lathe Bridgeport etc.

· Welding experience and knowledge of PLC programming a plus.

· Basic math skills required.

· Must be able to operate basic to sophisticated hand tools and possess knowledge of safety procedures and practices.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
