Role Overview:

We are currently searching for an Industrial IoT Connected Operations Specialist to join our global digital technology team. As an Industrial IoT Connected Operations Specialist you will have the opportunity be involved with data-driven industry 4.0 projects that are transforming our factories into connected ecosystems. Our team works with industry leading IIoT platforms to create, support, and sustain software solutions that have real world impacts on people, equipment, and products. These solutions ensure safer work environments, reduce defects in the manufacturing process, unlock the innovative power of big data, and ultimately contribute to air traffic safety.

As a member of the Connected Operations IIoT team you will have the opportunity to get hands-on with information systems and manufacturing devices to create new solutions, enhancements, break-fix, analysis, deployment, and sustainment support across a diverse landscape of locations and system environments. You will also be working with customers, taking in requirements, working with vendors, and internal partners to solve complex technical challenges.

**This position will be fully remote with 15% travel. **

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experience with connecting IoT or IIoT devices and related concepts (PLC’s, machine drivers, connectivity SDK’s, etc)

  • Experience with application support, debugging, and QA testing

  • Demonstrated ability using conventional code development (C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, etc) to provide business solutions

  • Experience with networking hardware and software tools

  • Demonstrated ability working with databases and query development (T-SQL, Hana SQL, Oracle SQL)

  • Ability to lead projects and help guide customers to solutions

  • Experience with system design, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and systems integration

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes

  • Experience with windows server and desktop versions (XP, Windows 7, windows 10, Server 2008, server 2016, server 2019, etc)

  • Experience with Thingworx, Kepware, or Ignition

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

  • Must be customer focused and solution oriented.

  • Basic understanding of information networks and tools

  • Basic understanding of application development concepts

  • Working knowledge of and experience with an object-oriented programming language

  • Basic understanding of Windows server management

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
