In this position you can make a difference in the lives of seniors in your own community by overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Independent Living Facility, Wellington, including assisting with admissions paperwork for new residents, coordinating & executing social activities, meal preparation, and providing hands-on care to residents on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the assisted living facility
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute social activities for the residents
  • Assist in the completion of admission paperwork for new residents
  • Meal preparation for all residents
  • Provides hands-on care to residents as needed, which may include assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, linen changes, transportation, errands, or other reasonable duties as assigned
  • Mentor and provide training/shadowing to other Caregivers
  • Flexible Scheduling for covering emergency Caregiver staffing issues to ensure residents receive their one-on-one care
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule

  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule that consists of various days of the week including nights and weekends
  • Shifts are 8 to 12 hours based on staffing needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care skills and experience
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and second form of ID
  • Current TB test documentation
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
  • Possess a smartphone
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred but not required
  • Willing and able to complete a robust video training program provided by Senior Solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Ability to accurately and safely operate a Hoyer lift.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license (required)
  • Possesses a valid second form of ID, such as a social security card
  • Must have reliable transportation with the ability to cover your branch office county.
  • Car insurance (required)
