In Home Caregiver - Drexel Hill, PA - Dayshift - 8AM-4:30PM Job at Touching Hearts at Home- Delaware County

Touching Hearts at Home is looking for caregivers to take care of our client located in the Drexel Hill area. This client has dementia and is a fall risk.Our client needs help around the house, and assistance with their ADL's. You must be compassionate and love taking care of others.
Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
· Have a 2-STEP TB SKIN TEST -or- QUANTIFERON BLOOD TEST -or- CHEST X-RAY
· Have a valid DRIVER’S LICENSE + RELIABLE VEHICLE + AUTO INSURANCE
· Be willing to travel throughout ALL of Delaware county
We serve a diverse group of clients with various needs and capabilities. Job duties will vary depending on which client(s) you are placed with. Typical job duties may include, but are not limited to:
· Providing companionship, including friendly conversation, assisting with hobbies, providing emotional support, etc.
· Assistance with personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.
· Assistance with meals, including prep, clean-up, feeding, and encouraging healthy dietary habits
· Assistance with light housekeeping such as laundry, dusting/vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, decluttering, sanitizing, etc.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends only
