The individual is curently looking for a support staff to work 20 hours a week with her in her home as well as in the community. The individual is intelligent, voiceful, well-mannered young women who loves to stay busy. She loves to learn new things, help others and talk with others.
She currently lives in Carbon COunty and is currently working on her health and wellness. She is interested in finding a volunteer opportunity,working on health and exercise, self help skills and becoming as independent as she can be.
She at times may need verbal prompts and emotional support to get motivated to do things, or to stay on task and finish what she has started.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: support the individual in general areas of self-care, effective communication, fine and gross motor skills, mobility. theraputic activities, personal adjustment, relationship development, building her self esteem, and how to use community services. Also assisting Stephanie to access her community and to attend chosen activities in the community.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experince in in home care giving, some knowledge of IDD and mental health diagnosis, PA crminal background check, valid driver's license, cleandriving record, and reliable transportation.
HOURS: May vary. 20 hours a week
PAY RATE: $20 - $22 per hour. Milage is reimbursed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations:
being vaccinated against Covid is not a requirement but, if you are not vaccinated then you will have to submit a weekly covid test.
