I have an immediate need for an in-home 5th grade math tutor in Mattituck. The student is a 5th grader attending Mattituck East Elementary School. He wants to work with a tutor for math.

The student is a fun, giant hearted kid who just does not like school. His father believes that this is coming from the pandemic since the student was in the 2nd grade when everything happened. He has gotten into this terrible habit that avoidance is the best option.

The main goal is to find a way to make math easy for for the student. His dad believes that once math comes easier to the student then the more he will enjoy math. Dad wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week. They are available Monday through Thursday 5pm-10pm. If possible Dad would prefer to met on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work at student's home in Mattituck near Laurel Lake.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)

Student Availability

MON-THUR 5pm-10pm
