Global Workplace Operations (GWO) is accountable for the delivery of Workplace Experience and services across Ericsson's global portfolio and is part of the Real Estate organization. The unit owns, develops, and implements the Workplace Services strategy and its sub-strategies. It ensures RE strategies deliver appropriate, differentiated solutions at its locations.

Our users work in all of Ericsson’s businesses in the Americas, approximately 43 locations in North America and 42 locations in South Latin America including our award winning 5G Factory in Plano Texas, our innovative R&D centers in Montreal and Ottawa Canada, Sao Paulo Brazil and our Customer Unit centers in Mexico.

This role owns and governs the relationship with the IFM supplier, reporting to the Head of GWO Americas, and is part of the GWO EMEA leadership team. As GWO delivers through outsourced parties, the management of this relationship is key to a successful delivery of Workplace Services and Experience.

This role drives the strategic/tactical element of the partnership through the Account Development Plan, KPI and other contract mechanisms. The tactical/operational parts are driven by the region teams. The model is mature in the traditional FM elements with strong governance and cost mechanisms. The rollout of Hybrid Working and the Workplace of the future makes enhanced Workplace Experience key to our success. This role is responsible for the execution of the Experience elements provided via the IFM partner, including hospitality, user technology, Sustainability and Wellbeing. This role will develop working methods with the partners to engender greater innovation and execution in these areas.

The role is located in North American Headquarters in Plano, Texas but other locations will be considered.

What you will do

• Own GWO’s relationship with the IFM supplier in this Geography by Driving the ADP (Accounting Development Plan) and focusing the IFM partner on improving Workplace Experience elements such as hospitality, wellness, user technology and sustainability within their remit and in line with Real Estate strategies for these.
• Engage with Suppliers on market trends and data while identifying and developing new contractual elements.
• Govern the Global Services Agreement with the supplier (Joint with Business Services Sourcing) including KPIs, at a Geo unit level.
• Collaborate with the Workplace Strategy lead to develop the Services and Workplace Delivery strategies and complete them.
• Be a key contributor in Real Estate thought leadership.
• Support the Geography and Regions in making sure compliance requirements, risk management and in-country building regulations are fully met (GWO part).
• Optimally develop best practice processes, procedures and strategies driven with excellent communication skills.

You will bring

• Experience of progressive user centric delivery
• BA/BS, MS or similar
• Have 7 years of facilities management experience
• Min 5 years handling outsourced bundled, integrated, or vested contracts (or similar). Globally preferred. A combination of corporate and supplier
• Validated Stakeholder, Change and Improvement Management Skills.
• Knowledge of Real Estate Process, Models & Strategies.
